November 17th - November 23rd: See how Nirvana, Backstreet Boys, P!nk, 50 Cent, Lady Gaga, Adam Levine and Ariana Grande marked this week in history for pop music from the past 30 years.

1993 - Nirvana

The grunge band records their MTV Unplugged concert in New York.  It is aired a month later.

2000 - Backstreet Boys

The boy band releases Black & Blue, with initial shipments of about 6 million copies of the album.

2001 - P!nk

Our favorite badass pop star releases her second album M!ssundaztood.

2003 - 50 Cent

The Detroit rapper wins Artist of the Year, Dopest Album and Hottest Hook at the first ever Vibe Awards.

2011 - Lady Gaga

In the ever evolving career from the Mother Monster, Gaga hosts a 90 minute special on ABC called A Very Gaga Thanksgiving.  The special includes cooking, singing, and an interview of the singer by Katie Couric.

2013 - Adam Levine

The Maroon 5 frontman is named the sexiest man alive, the first in the publications history of having a musician achieve this title.

2016 - Ariana Grande

The pop star wins Artist of the Year at the American Music Awards.
