National Great American Pot Pie Day is September 23rd. 

What do you prefer in your pot pie - turkey or beef?

Kid 

Turkey.  Potatoes, peas, carrots, gravy.

Turkey.  I love poultry way more than any one person should but, add gravy and pie crust in there and I am absolutely in heaven.  I do enjoy a very occasional beef pot pie, in fact, beef pot pies were an often visited afternoon snack in high school- maybe that was enough to suffice me for the rest of my life.  However, I don't think I've ever had a "from scratch" beef pot pie- maybe that would change my answer.  I do prefer things made from scratch so, I'll have to try out a recipe.

Turkey!  I don't think I've ever had beef in a pot pie. Not against it...but why mess with a good thing. Right?!
