FROM: Dan is from Wexford, Pennsylvania born August 16th, 1987, Shay is from Natural Dam, Arkansas born December 27, 1991.

• Dan studied Finance and played football at Carnegie Mellon University
• Dan has four rescue dogs named Chief, Joy, Ghost and Macaroni, Mac for short
• Shay attended one year of college at Valley Forge Christian College before trying to pursue a musical career
• They met in Nashville in December of 2012 and was signed within two months of their meeting
• Debuted at the country music mecca The Grand Ole Opry February 1, 2014
• This year, the group has won a Grammy for Best Country Duo Group Performance, a Billboard Music Award for Top Country Duo/Group, and an Academy of Country Music Award for Vocal Duo of the Year, Single of the Year for Tequila and ong of the Year for Tequila.
