Here is something fun & FREE for our Central Maine listeners!

Let’s face it, last summer was a real drag. There so many things that we all would normally enjoy, that just didn’t happen due to Covid. Probably what I missed the most was live music, be it at a local bar, a concert facility like the Cross Insurance Center, or outdoors on a nice summer evening. Well, with all the amazing strides we have made in the last few months, we can go back to living again. Or “YOLO” as the kids call it, or do they still? Not sure.

Our friends in Drip City, are bringing back an annual event that gives everyone a chance to listen to music, dance, and just chill in a lawn chair enjoying the weather.

Waterville Rocks is a free, family-friendly concert series that will be held in Downtown Waterville. All shows will take place at Head of Falls in Waterville. It’s BYO chairs and blankets, also, there are plenty of great local restaurants to pick up take out to bring to the shows. Or if you just want a few cold ones, and you are 21+, The Proper Pig will have a beer garden full of suds, that will start serving at 5:30pm on concert days.

Music will begin at 6:00pm, and rum till 8:30pm. In the event of rain, the event will be moved indoors to the Waterville Opera House.

Here are scheduled shows so far:

July 23 – Spencer Albee
July 30 – The Wolff Sisters
August 6 – Casey Abrams
August 13 – The Big Takeover
