If you missed Maine’s only late night talk show over the weekend, we have highlighs!

The 11th Season of The Nite Show is upon us. They have returned to the show's home base of The Gracie Theatre in Bangor after several months of "scaled back editions" of the show from Dan's basement or an office conference room. There is no audience in the theater and there are visible changes being made to ensure safety.

Brittany Parker is a performer who wrote, performed, and adapted "The Glitch Witch" from a one-woman live show to a produced video experience to help kick off Penobscot Theatre Company's virtual 2020-2021 season. "The Glitch Witch" is now streaming at Penobscot Theatre's website. https://www.penobscottheatre.org/

Nite Show band member, Brian Nadeau has a radio station called "Nice & Easy Radio" through Maine Internet Radio. He launched the station earlier this year and is seeing steady growth and success with it. Despite that, he is still doing promotions for the station in an effort to drive new listeners. See what happened when he decided to have a guest DJ fill a slot on the station. Here is a hint, he used to work here at the Z!

The Nite Show will celebrate their 10th anniversary later this fall. The show originally premiered in April of 1997 in Bangor. But after a couple of short runs, the show returned in its most recent form in October of 2010. The half-hour special is scheduled to run in early November. Exact times and stations to be announced.

The Nite Show with Danny Cashman can be seen every Saturday night in Bangor at 11:30 on WABI-TV5. Saturday nights in Portland at 10:30 on WPFO, FOX 23, and 1 a.m. on WGME CBS 13, and in Presque Isle on Saturday nights at midnight on WAGM FOX 8.
