WATCH: Amazing Views From Atop New Bangor Savings Bank

The rooftop deck of the new Bangor Savings Bank building offers some amazing views of Bangor, Brewer and beyond.

On Tuesday evening, I attended the Bangor Greendrinks party on the deck. The rain that fell all day had finally moved out, leaving behind a pleasant evening. Although, I wish we'd had some sun to brighten this video a little. It was a cloudy evening, but the views were still beautiful.

It was a fun party, with some delicious pulled pork on cornbread, mac n' cheese, and a tasty IPA that offered hints of citrus. The music from Great North Woods set a perfect mood for conversation and networking. All in all, a very fun evening.

But the belle of the ball was definitely the new, very "green" Bangor Savings Bank building. It's a really beautiful campus, with that 'new-office' smell. And the employees are very lucky to have use of that rooftop deck. Thanks to the folks at Bangor Savings Bank for allowing us to enjoy this beautiful amenity. If I worked there, I'd eat my lunch on that deck every day, three seasons of the year.
