The holidays are nearly in full swing for most of us, but a few of us are pretty much all ready there.  Actually, some of us have been there since we were passing out candy on Halloween night.

If you are one of those penultimate holiday season fans then, check out this uber holiday event that will be fun for all scrooges and holiday fans alike.

On Saturday December 14th you will be able to celebrate Christmas like it's snapshot of what it was like in the 1800s with a decorated 17th century mansion, the quintessential horse-drawn wagon ride and authentically wood stove made cocoa and mulled cider.

The event will take place 11 AM - 4 PM at Washburn-Norlands Living History Center in Livermore.

Not only will you get to see the beautiful sites of an authentic Jingle Bells scene, you'll also get to do all kinds of fun Christmas-time activities like sing Christmas carols, making 18th century crafts, hear stories and play old timey games.

The weirdly obsessed Christmas fanatics will love it, the significant others who will be dragged along will get bonus points for the future and kids won't know what's happening but will still build some nice family memories.

Now listen, you cannot purchase tickets ahead of time.  Tickets are sold only at the door and no reservations are necessary.
