Maine's only late night talk show threw a virtual parade!

It was an unusual 4th of July weekend to say the least. Everyone had to get creative with their celebrations. With most towns canceling fireworks displays and parades, it was a pretty low-key affair.

The Nite show with Danny Cashman knew some things had to be canceled for Independence Day, so he came up with the idea to have the 1st Annual Virtual Nite Show 4th of July Parade. Taking viewers from Maine to California, this virtual parade features cameos from Penobscot County Sheriff, Troy Morton, Bangor City Council Chair Claire Davitt, radio host of “Downtown,” Rich Kimball, the morning show from WJBQ, our sister station in Portland, Comedian Rob Bartlett, and Grand Marshall of the virtual parade, “Double Dare” host, Marc Summers, who is rocking a classic Moody’s Diner t-shirt!

Like lots of us, Dan Cashman has been working from home, the big difference is that he is doing a local television show every week. The Nite Show with Danny Cashamn: Scaled-Back Editions, has been a bit of a departure from the normal proceedings, but he still is bringing us all some great guests.

During his stay at home shows, Dan has had some great guests! Veteran character actor Stephen Tobolowsky of "Groundhog Day," actress Andrea Barber of "Full House," and "Fuller House" fame, and iconic host of the Nickelodeon classic game show "Double Dare," Marc Summers.

"The Nite Show with Danny Cashman" airs each and every Saturday night at 11:30 on WABI TV5/Bangor, Saturday nights at 10:30 on FOX 23/Portland, Saturday nights at midnight on WAGM FOX 8/Presque Isle, and late night Saturdays at 1 a.m. on WGME CBS 13/Portland
