Bangor's version of Screech, pays tribute to the new reboot!

Due to the recent COVID-19 uptick here in Maine, the latest episode of The Nite Show with Dan Cashman was a scaled back edition, with Danny the only person in the studio, but that doesn't mean that fun wasn't had by all involved, even if it was from remote locations. For the safety measures, they will be doing this for time being, with the hope they can return to the Gracie Theatre in 2021 for live shows.

Last week, the new NBC streaming service called Peacock, dropped the reboot of the classic late 80's/early 90's sitcom. "Saved By The Bell" Not one to let this moment pass, Dan and his crew, which now includes the lovely new on-air announcer, Christie Robinson, did a funny parody of it called "Saved By The Bell-The Midlife Crisis Years" It's worth a look, just for Dan's shenanigans alone.

David Letterman's former warm-up comic at the Ed Sullivan Theatre, Eddie Brill made an appearance via Facetime from Brooklyn, to talk about his time with Letterman, and how Colbert, Kimmel, and Fallon are doing in reguards to telling pandemic jokes during late night.

The Nite Show also debuted "Roommates" which is a web only series that gets some comedy miles out of the relationship from Dan & Christie. Check out Episode 1 "The Introduction."
