The ‘Hermon Summer Sizzler’ Is Back On August 19th

An entire day of fun for everyone is coming to Hermon!

The Summer of 20223 will be a memory before you know it, so get out an enjoy an annual 13-hour event that is a real crowd pleaser. So, ff your kids have been complaining about how there is “nothing to do”, bring ‘em to the Hermon Rec Summer Sizzler!

The Hermon Recreation Department is excited to bring back the Summer Sizzler this year on Saturday, August 19th, at Hermon Elementary School, from 8:30am-9:15pm

Grab your friends and family and and celebrate the town of Hermon, with a day of activities for people of all ages, including food, bounce houses, music, fireworks, a slime run, car show and a cornhole tournament.

Here is how the 2023 Hermon Summer Sizzler schedule of events breaks down for the day:

8:30 AM- Slime Run-Runners will be given slime run shirts and will be doused from head to toe with different color slime from start to finish!

9:30 AM-11:30AM Car Show

12PM-4PM Carnival Land, Booths & Food Trucks

1PM Hermon Fire Department Presentation

3PM-6PM Cornhole Tournament (Hosted by Lincoln Lakes Cornhole)

4PM-6PM Community BBQ (Hermon Baptist Church)

5PM-7PM Food Trucks

5PM-7:30PM Live Music

And of course, the day wraps up with a dazzling fireworks display, from 8:45PM-9:15PM
