Don’t miss all the fun, this Thursday night!

There will be a Fire & Ice Cream Social, at Hero’s Take Out & Dairy Bar, located at 2402 Route 2 in Hermon this Thursday, July 21st, from 6pm-8pm. They are right across from Central Maine Harley-Davidson.

Join the Hermon Fire Department at Hero's Take Out for an ice cream social! Enjoy a small soft serve ice cream on behalf of the Fire Department, while checking out the awesome fire trucks, and hanging out with the Hermon firefighters! That's right, Hermon Fire Department is buying you a small ice cream, so come on down with the family and say hello! Stop by early and enjoy dinner on the patio!

They will have lots of fire prevention materials for the kids as well as a Touch a Truck opportunity with fire engines from the HFD.

This could be a really fun experience for the whole family. Getting to see a fire truck up close and in person, is a pretty cool sight to behold. It should be busy, since this is the first time this is happening since the Covid-19 pandemic.

Unfortunately, there is a possibility of thunderstorms on Thursday, which would throw a wrench into the works of this event, and the big Backstreet Boys concert in Bangor.

Be sure to check the Hero’s Take Out & Dairy Bar Facebook page to see if a rain date needs to be scheduled.

Hero’s Take Out & Dairy Bar is locally owned, and features delicious treats like buffalo chicken mac & cheese, breadsticks, boneless wings, pizza, sundaes, Nor' Easters, shakes and…ice cream! They have partnered up with The Maine Scoop, to serve up Gifford’s legendary ice cream.

Grab the fam and hang out with the Hermon Fire Department this Thursday, from 6pm-8pm!
