Yesterday (September 21st), Maine Sate Police were called by the York County Sheriff's Office to assist in locating a kindergartener that had walked off into the woods at recess and had gotten lost.

Maine State Police pulled over a driver on a busy stretch of road in Auburn on Saturday for driving more than twice the speed limit.

The southbound lane of Interstate 95 is shutdown near the Coldbrook Road exit in Hampden, and will be for the foreseeable future, as State Police investigate a fatal crash. The crash was reported around 7 this evening and several units have responded to the scene.

The names of those involved in a fatal crash last night in Newburgh are released by police. State Police say a 24 year old man from Albion was killed when he apparently lost control of his vehicle last night on Route 9 last night in the snowy conditions.
