One of modern music's greatest artists is coming to the Bangor Waterfront!

Waterfront Concerts is announcing that Sunday, September 11th fans will get the chance to see Sting perform at the Maine Saving Amphitheater.

The show will be jam-packed with Sting's favorite songs, taking a journey through the years of incredible music from this prolific songwriter. The show will feature fan-favorite songs including 'Shape of My Heart', 'Fields of Gold', 'Roxanne', and 'Demolition Man', 'Every Breath You Take', 'Message In A Bottle', and many more.

Sting is a 17-time Grammy Award winner who started with The Police in 1977 and then launched a solo career in 1984. Throughout his career, Sting has been a part of many genres of music including rock, reggae, new-age and classical and has become one of the best-selling musicians of all time.

Sting will be backed up on stage by an electric rock ensemble. And, he will have special guest Joe Sumner along for the tour, Sting's son.

Tickets will go on sale Friday, April 2nd at 10 AM through Ticketmaster. Tickets start at $47.50. Details about the show can be found at WaterfrontConcerts.com.
