Forecasters are calling for another round of spring snow late week.

The National Weather Service is forecasting snow for much of Maine late Thursday into Friday. Forecasters are calling for 4-6 inches of snow for the Bangor area, with lesser amounts near the coast, where snow is expected to mix with rain. Higher accumulations are expected further north, where snow may fall heavy at times.

The National Weather Service cautions drivers of potentially slushy and slippery travel conditions late Thursday into Friday.

In addition to the snow, a High Wind Watch has been issued for the Downeast coast, as winds are expected to gust to 55 mph. In addition, a Coastal Flood Watch has been issued for Washington County.
