SNL Spoofs Dysart’s ‘Buttery, Flaky Crust’ Commercial [VIDEO]
Saturday Night Live just spoofed a famous Dysart's commercial that celebrated its buttery, flaky crust chicken pie.
We all know the original commercial by now. A couple struggles with the phrase 'buttery, flaky crust' as they try to record an ad about Dysart's delicious chicken pot pie. The outtakes proved to be more entertaining than the commercial itself, and the video went viral.
Apparently, it reached New York City where the folks at SNL created a spot-on spoof. Kate McKinnon and Will Ferrell recreate the magic of the original video perfectly, except this time, it's a "crispy pastry crust."
And, if you've forgotten the original, you can see it here!
