After a full week of  LGBTQ pride celebrations and memorials in Bangor, Saturday will feature the Pride Parade and Festival in downtown Bangor.

Here's what to expect for the parade scheduled for this coming Saturday:

  • 11 a.m. - Parade line-up starts in front of the Sea Dog on Front Street
  • Noon - Parade to take place, traveling from Front Street, across Broad Street, up Water Street, down Main Street and into State Street, and ending down Exchange Street
  • 1 p.m. - Expected Parade wrap up

Following the Pride Parade, downtown Bangor will be celebrating with the Bangor Pride Festival.

The festival is expected to start around 1 PM in West Market and Pickering Square.

Music from local bands Great North Woods and Rotating Taps:

  • 1:30 p.m. - Great North Woods
  • 3 p.m.- Rotating Taps

  • Kid friendly
  • Leash your pets
  • Bring your camping chairs
  • Bathrooms available at the Charles Inn
