The Maine Department of Transportantion (MaineDOT) has set a date to talk about the deck replacement and rehabilitation of Old Town's overpass bridge located on Route 43/ I-95 (#6061).  The bridge is located at exit 197 northbound on Interstate 95.

This preliminary public meeting is set for Thursday, May 2nd from 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM at the Old Town Town Office, 265 Main Street.  The meeting will be to discuss the improvements of the bridge.

Reps of the MaineDOT will be at the meeting to discuss the details of the project but also to listen to concerns, receive comments, and answer questions from anyone with interest in the upcoming project. The MaineDOT states that they are "particularly interested in learning local views relative to project consistency with local comprehensive plans, discovering local resources, and identifying local concerns and issues".
