A Portland man is charged with murder for the death of his domestic partner at their Dorothy Street home.

Anthony Leng was arrested Saturday morning for the death of 36-year-old Sokha Khuon, who was his domestic partner. The two shared a house on Dorothy Street, with their children. Police found Khuon in the home on January 7th, when they responded to a report from neighbors of shots fired. The couples' 10- and 15-year-old children, who were found in the house, were not harmed. They're now staying with relatives.

Police said in a post on their Facebook page that an autopsy by the State Medical Examiner's office determined Khuon died of multiple gunshot wounds. Her death was ruled a homicide.

Portland Police offer condolences to Ms. Khuon's family, friends, coworkers, and neighbors, stating that domestic violence murders are tragic and devastating. Anyone experiencing domestic violence is encouraged to contact police or Family Crisis Services at 1-800-537-6066.
