A popular local pizza establishment is, unfortunately, closing its doors for good.

Pizzaland, located at 177 River Road in Orrington, has decided to shut down over issues such as costs, inventory, utilities, payroll, and rent. It is extremely hard to keep a business open as it is, but post-pandemic, it has been a struggle for lots of places.

I can personally tell you, that there have been many days where I would stop by after making the quick trip up the road here from Brewer, and grab some lunch on my way home from work. I have to say, it did not disappoint, so it is a little bittersweet for all of us who are regular, or semi-regular customers.

You can still enjoy their mouth-watering pizzas, wings, calzones, hot & cold subs, pasta dishes, and salads for the next several days. They will close for good on Saturday, June 24th at 10 pm.

For now they will keep the same hours of operation:

Monday-Tuesday Closed
Wednesday-11am-8pm
Thursday-11am-8pm
Friday-11am-10pm
Saturday-11am-10pm
Sunday-11am-7pm

One last bash will be thrown, on Saturday, June 24th, they plan on going out with a bang, with music & fun, and great deals on food & drinks. Don't miss that party, so you can say goodbye to Pizzaland!

You still have several days to place an order for lunch or dinner. Be sure to check out the Pizzaland Orrington website.
