Just weeks from now, in early May, in the old Boomhouse Restaurant in that big space on Main Street in downtown Old Town, the much anticipated Pepper’s Landing Restaurant will open.

How exciting. There are locations of Pepper’s Landing in Brunswick and also in Rochester, New Hampshire.

And the race is on for the opening of the second, and third locations in Maine. The schedule for opening in downtown Old Town is early May.  And then a location in Westbrook is scheduled to open also.

If you’ve been to the Brunswick location, you know they are known for seafood. Bring it. Can’t wait. Back to their roots.

Ralph ‘Pepper’ Martin was born and grew up in Old Town and one of the current co-owners Morey Highbarger is from Old Town too. And Highbarger is also Pepper’s grandson.

Pepper was a character, storyteller, and a former Maine guide.

And remember the location overlooks the Penobscot River and the Milford Dam. Can’t wait to see what both look like, and what the renovated interior of the restaurant looks like once they open.
