Old Town Riverfest Scheduled for Sept 27, 28

One of Bangor area's favorite town festivals is coming our way. The Old Town Riverfest will be happening September 27 and 28 and will feature all kinds of fun stuff for the family.

Every year there's a parade down main street with candy thrown to the people lining the street, lots of fun activities for the kiddos in Binette Park and a great fireworks show.  All of this to celebrate the city of Old Town.

Expect live performances, lots of great food, talented crafters, games and pony rides.

In years past, the festival has had great local music acts including the Old Town group Carmen that hit the top of the dance charts in 2012.  Here's an interview with the group when they came to Riverfest in 2012.
