Come out and help our furry, four-legged friends, support the good people of NFR Maine, and enjoy some delicious food at the same time.

NFR Maine is a dog and cat rescue, who save the lives of pets from the high-kill shelters in Northwest Florida, they then place them in loving homes right here in the state of Maine.

This group of dedicated volunteers is fully committed. The mission of NFR Maine is to help network, transport, foster, and take these animals for vet services and anything else that is needed to keep them safe and taken care of. They aid dogs and cats when they have no other place to go.

You may also know them from their weekly 6:40am Thursday "Pet of The Week" segment on the WABI TV5 Morning Show, which of course features our good buddy, Todd Simcox.

This Thursday starting at 4 pm, there will be a dine-in event at the Texas Roadhouse, which is located at 504 Stillwater Ave, in Bangor. For every table that shows a copy of this flyer on their phones, or if you print out a physical copy, Texas Roadhouse will donate 10% of that tables tab to NFR Maine. And it goes without saying, that Texas Roadhouse has some very tasty food on their menu. This is a win-win for all involved.

Be sure to check out the NFR Maine Instagram page to see some of these beautiful animals that are looking for their forever homes.
