A Milford man faces charges after he allegedly burned his ex-girlfriend's clothing in the front yard of his home.

Justin Loring, 26, is charged with aggravated criminal mischief.

Police say the fire was in the early morning hours Tuesday at Loring’s home at 1081 Main Road in Milford. The fire destroyed the woman’s clothing, backpack and shoes, according to police.

The woman was not at the house at the time.

Loring was taken to the Penobscot County Jail and later released on $850 bail.

It was just last month when a Milo man was charged with arson for allegedly burning his wife's clothes.
