Melissa Etheridge Is Coming To Bangor In August

Get ready for a hot night of music on the Bangor Waterfront.

The only thing that makes an upcoming Maine winter bearable, is when Bangor summer concert announcements come at you at a rapid-fire pace.

So far, Papa Roach, Goo Goo Dolls, Matt Rife, and Avril Lavigne have been announced, and with the list of shows just starting to heat up, now you can add an iconic artist to the mix.

Melissa Etheridge is coming to the Maine Savings Amphitheater, on Saturday, August 30th, 2025. The "Yes We Are" tour will also feature the legendary Indigo Girls!

The show is part of the "Hollywood Casino Bangor Concert Series"

Etheridge is a multiple Grammy Award winner and even a won a Oscar in the “Best Song” category at the 2007 Academy Awards.

As if that wasn't impressive enough, she just happens to be an electric live performer. I have personally seen her in concert three times, including twice here in the Bangor area.

I can tell you that she puts on an intense show that you don't want to miss!

With hits like "Come To My Window" "I'm The Only One" "Like The Way I Do", and "Bring Me Some Water", it will be an incredible evening of iconic rock & roll.

Indigo Girls have won a Grammy Award, for Best Contemporary Folk Recording for their 1989 debut album, "Indigo Girls."

The American folk and rock duo, consisting of Amy Ray and Emily Saliers, have been nominated for seven Grammys total.

In 2025, they will receive a lifetime achievement award at The International Folk Music Awards in Montreal
