Concert Alert: Avril Lavigne Is Coming To Bangor

Here comes another concert alert!

Get ready for a hot night of music on the Bangor Waterfront.

The only thing that makes an upcoming Maine winter bearable, is when Bangor summer concert announcements come at you at a rapid-fire pace.

So far, Papa Roach, Goo Goo Dolls, and Matt Rife, have been announced, and with the list of shows just starting to heat up, now you can add an iconic artist to the mix.

Avril Lavigne is bringing her "Greatest Hits Tour" to Bangor, at the Maine Savings Amphitheater, on Sunday, May 25th, 2025.

The show is part of the "Hollywood Casino Bangor Concert Series"

Also taking the stage that night, are special guests, Simple Pan, and We The Kings

Avril is a Canadian singer and songwriter, who is a key musician in the development of pop-punk music, as she paved the way for female-driven, punk-influenced pop music in the early 2000s.

Her accolades include eight Grammy Award nominations, and a ton of hit songs.

On May 25th, you can expect to hear tunes like "Complicated", "Sk8er Boi", "I'm With You", "My Happy Ending", "Girlfriend", and many more!

At age 16, Lavigne signed a record deal with Arista Records. Her debut studio album, "Let Go" in 2002, is the best-selling album of the 21st century by a Canadian artist.

You many also remember that she was once married to Chad Kroger, the lead singer of Nickelback, from 2013, to 2015.
