Maine’s Julia Gagnon To Perform Sunday On American Idol Finale

Cheer on Julia again, this Sunday night!

Her incredible run on Idol may be over, but there is much more to come.

Many of us are still not over the shocking moment when Julia Gagnon's name was not called into the Top 5 a few weeks back, we can all feel a little better knowing that she is thankful for her journey and that it is just the beginning of a very promising career in music.

The season finale of American Idol is this Sunday night, and our favorite contestant will be returning to take the stage, one last time.

In a recent Facebook post, Julia teased that some new music is on the way.

Since she is still in Los Angeles, the folks from the Maine locations of Armoa Joe's, sent her a coffee care package.

It has been so much fun this spring, rooting for someone who represented the State of Maine in such a meaningful and beautiful way.

Maybe what is most amazing about Julia's success, is that it all began right here in Maine, at Central Maine Idol, last summer.

From that stage, till now, she is living proof, that if you have a dream, a ton of talent, and a little bit of luck, anything is truly possible!

Since Julia finished in the Top 7, she will go out on tour with the rest of the finalists, once this season is over, so you certainly have not heard the last of her, plus you get to hear her again, this Sunday night at 8, when the finale of American Idol airs on ABC 7 in Bangor. It will also be available to stream the following day on Hulu.
