Julia does it again!

This season of American Idol has been of particular interest to all of us who live here in the State of Maine because for once, we have a contestant who could go all the way and win the whole thing.

It was Rock & Roll Hall of Fame night on American Idol, and Maine's Julia Gagnon brought the house down again, with an incredible cover of Whitney Houston's "Run To You"

That performance sealed her move into the Top 12 of the competition, but tonight, she will find out if she makes the Top 10, which would be an incredible achievement.

As always, she took to social media, to thank her fans for all the support.

Julia has a ton of support, just check out some of the comments on her performance from last night!

THIS sold me on Julia. I've always thought she was incredible but often lacked control..... THIS proved she has control and more. Woooo

I can't tell if I'm watching a seasoned veteran perform at the Grammy's or a contestant on American Idol!!!

Are you ready, Julia? You are going to be internationally famous! What an amazing voice.

Julia has a very interesting backstory, she is from Cumberland, attends the University of Southern Maine, and recently found her birth mother in Guatemala, and she's trying to accomplish something big, to make her proud.

Keep following Julia on her journey, when American Idol airs Sunday & Monday nights at 8 pm, on ABC 7. It is also available to stream the next day on Hulu.
