Maine Extends Vehicle Registration Deadline
A little something to ease your mind!
If you have been living in a reality base version of the movie "Groundhog Day" and it occurred to you that your car registration is either about to expire or it already has, and you are stressing over it, you can chill...for it a bit anyway.
When Governor Janet Mills extended Maine's civil state of emergency on Tuesday until May 15, The Maine Bureau of Motor Vehicles has been kind enough to extended registrations as long as the state of emergency is in place, which would give you about roughly another month. This order includes Motor Vehicle and trailer registrations, all temporary registrations, and any fuel use decals that expire during the state of emergency will be extended.
