Looking To Adopt A Dog? The Bangor Humane Society Has Dozens
Dogs are great. They're fun to play with, snuggle with, and watch.
It's no wonder people like to hang out with them. And if you're currently in the market for a pooch pal, you should definitely stop into the Bangor Humane Society, and check out the dogs they have there.
According to a recent Facebook post, the shelter says they have over 60 dogs just waiting to be adopted.
Director of Development and Communication at the Bangor Humane Society, Kathryn Ravenscraft, went on Facebook Live from the shelter's dog kennels to introduce us to some of the pups up for adoption.
If you're interested in adopting a pet from the Bangor Humane Society, there is a process to go through that all starts with filling out an online application.
"This will tell us a little more about your household, lifestyle, and what you may be looking for in a canine companion. Adoption counselors are trained to take the adoption application and match it with dogs that are available for adoption."
"After the application phase, we can move on to a dog visit. We ask that any other people or dogs living in the home come in to meet the dog. Landlord checks, veterinary checks, or a mandatory Dog’s Day Out may be required on a case-by-case basis."
