‘Light Up the Night’ Coming to Orono Next Monday

Looking for a fun way to celebrate the holiday season with the whole family?  Check out this fun event in Orono.

Next Monday, December 8th you can look forward to an evening of holiday celebration in Orono while the town celebrates the festive season with 'Light Up the Night'.

The evening will start at 4:30 PM in downtown Orono for a fun and festive night that includes caroling over the Stillwater River to a visit with Santa at the University Inn.

Here's the schedule:

• 4:30 PM Gather at the University Credit Union, located at 15 Main Street in Orono, across from Mill Street.

• 5 PM Carol to the University Inn, located at 5 College Avenue (overlooking Stillwater River) with the Orono High School Chorus

• 5:15 PM Tree lighting with Santa at the University Inn
• 5:20 PM Visit with Santa at the University Inn
