We are now getting more details about that fatal crash that happened on Wednesday evening in Vassalboro.

According to an article on the WCSH 6 website, a 92-year-old Winslow man was killed in that single-vehicle crash late Wednesday night in Vassalboro.  This information is according to a representative from the Kennebec County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies responded to the crash on Cross Hill Road at about 11 PM and found a Jeep Cherokee that had gone off the roadway. Investigators say the vehicle appeared to have entered a ditch, rolled over, and come to rest back on the road.

The driver, identified as Reginald Duguay of Winslow, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Kennebec County Sheriff's Office is continuing to investigate what caused the crash.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Mr. Duguay's family and friends during this difficult time.
