It’s A Pop-Up Food Truck, Beer & Wine Weekend In Winterport

Eat, drink and be merry all weekend long in Winterport!

Now that winter is almost here, it makes me sad that I can't enjoy all of the incredible food trucks here in the Greater Bangor area, but this weekend, you can sample a couple of my personal favorites.

Two of the best food trucks in the area are ready to serve you for a weekend of fun at Penobscot Bay Brewery & Winterport Winery, located at 279 South Main Street in Winterport.

Friday & Saturday, from 11am-8pm, The Butcher, The Baker will be there for a special Pop up Kitchen event!

They serve up a New American style menu, with a personal twist! Freshly baked breads, smoked meats, and their own cured cheeses and meats.

One of the more popular items is "Grammys Smashed Again Burger" which features two homemade sugar jelly doughnuts, two smashed burgers with scratch pickles and maple bacon.

Their mouth watering menu also features poutine, a variety of tacos, and a personal fave, chicken & waffles!

Then on Sunday, from 11am-6pm, my number one choice for food trucks, JJ's Jerk Shack, will be on hand, serving up delicious Jamaican jerk chicken and other scrumptious dishes. I highly recommend the Jamaican Jerk Bowl, that includes rice & coleslaw. It is simply amazing.

And of course you can enjoy wine & craft beers, and other cocktails from the folks at Winterport Winery, and Penobscot Bay Brewery all weekend long as well
