Holy invasive insect Batman! According to WBAI TV in Bangor, The Maine Department of Agriculture, Conservation and Forestry needs the public's help tracking down trees sold at Lowe's home improvement centers.

That's right; they're looking for trees; why? Because there might be an invasive insect inside that eats other Ash Green trees.

The fear is they will multiply and destroyed the native trees in the state's habitat. According to the WBAI website, They were sold potted with a tag reading "Ash Green, Fraxinus pennsylvancia" for $29.99. If Lowe's Department store hasn't already contacted you, please email bugwatch@maine.gov or call 287-7545 as soon as possible.
