If you missed Maine’s only late night talk show, we have highlights!

First things first. Danny celebrated his birthday on Wednesday, and all of us here at the Z, hope he had a very happy one! You may notice that the picture attached to this post is of myself and Dan, way back in the day. If I had to guess I would say it is 2008? Not 100% sure, but we have been buds for many, many years.

The gang is back at Husson University’s Gracie Theatre in Bangor after several months of "scaled back editions". Best of all, Danny is on a run of all-new episodes that will last till the month of May!

A legendary radio guy who has been on the air in Bangor, Augusta, Portland, and now statewide online. Jeff Pierce was recently named Operations Manager for Wreaths Across America Radio, part of Maine Internet Radio.

Singer Rick Charette returned to The Nite Show for the first time in 8 years, and makes his first public performance in more than a year. Charette officially retired in 2018 after decades writing and performing children's music, and he visits The Nite Show to perform his classic "I Love Mud" Rick also has performed at a few of The Z's kids themed events over the years

This Saturday night, Radio Month on The Nite Show wraps up this weekend with a legend. Broadway Bill Lee currently holds down Afternoon Drive on New York's WCBS-FM. Known for his ability to make impromptu rhymes on the fly over intros to popular music, Lee has also spent time on the air in Detroit and San Fransisco. Without a doubt, he is one of my broadcasting heroes

And, Dan & Christie acknowledge the many spokespeople who have been used for popular companies and products over the years, but reveal a number of "Spokespeople Who Were Never Used."

You can catch The Nite Show with Danny Cashman every Saturday night in Bangor at 11:30 on WABI-TV5. Saturday nights in Portland at 10:30 on WPFO, FOX 23, and 1 a.m. on WGME CBS 13, and in Presque Isle on Saturday nights at midnight on WAGM FOX 8.
