Next Friday, stop by and give what you can, to help out a local area family

The Bangor area recived some sad news this week, when Amanda Curry unexpectedly passed away. She was a mom of two, valued family member at High Tide, and a friend to so many here in the community.

I have personally been overwhelmed by the outpouring of sadness and love for Amanda, over the last few days, not only becuase I knew her a little bit myself, but on social media, from her many, many friends and colleagues.

High Tide will be donating 10% of food & beverages, all day Friday, May 19th, from 11am-12am, all proceeds will be doanted to support Amanda's daighters. Kieran and Kristin.

Mark Greenleaf, from Carolina's Sports & Spirits in Bangor, has also stepped up and agreed to also donate 10% of that days profits to Amanda's family as well. They will be open from 7am-1am.

If you can't stop by next Friday, High Tide has a cash donation jar set up in the bar area where you can donate!

From some of the comments on the High Tide Facebook page, you can see that Amanda was loved and will be dearly missed.

I still can’t believe it, she was such a sweet person and my heart hurts for her amazing little girls

I am still in shock..why,why why??

Sweet Amanda, always smiling, always friendly, no matter how busy, no matter how understaffed some days were..she always loved working...she never complained, just always smiled and looked so happy. Prayers for her 2 girls and her family for strength and peace.

We will miss you Amanda

So very sad...life isn't fair is it

High Tide thank you so much for doing this for our girl and her girls
