A recent study shows that most people feel happiest in fall and why shouldn't we.

There are multiple reasons to love this current season that we are in that involve the return of cooler temperatures and enjoying the change of colors outside.  There's also a return to the inside and preparation for the months to come as colder weather returns and the holidays are in the near-future.

Reported by People.com, the study was conducted by OnePoll for Stuffed Puffs.  It surveyed 2000 people and found that 59% of people preferred the autumn season comparably to the other seasons during the year.  Additionally, one-third said it was their favorite season.

The many individual reasons include the food of fall which is often highlighted by the spices we associate with fall including pumpkin spice and cinnamon.  We also love the warm beverages and foods that are becoming more prevalent to combat the cooler temperatures.

Many reasons also include nature's changes at this time.  The autumn showcases the natural progression of the lifespan of leaves and other flora as we watch the colors change and the aroma's that are released because of this change.

Combining the sights, smells, and tastes of the season makes fall a time of year we all look forward to.
