Tuesday morning, November 19th at 6am, I will once again move into the Brewer Hannaford parking lot, to collect frozen turkeys and monetary donations, that Manna Ministries will distribute to families in our area that may not have a Thanksgiving meal this year.
You can either donate a frozen bird when you do your grocery shopping, or $10 cash, equals one turkey towards our total. You can donate $1, or $100, whatever works best for you and your household budget.
Our goal is 2013! In 2011, we had a record breaking year, with over 3,000 turkeys collected and we would love to shatter that record this year and I won't leave the Brewer Hannaford parking lot till we reach our number of 2,013!
We look forward to seeing all our listeners who generously donate each and every year. The school kids who save their pennies, or hold fundraising events to help "Free The Z" And as always, we love it when businesses in our area challenge each other to see who can collect the highest total!
