Fun Events Are Scheduled For June’s ‘Maine Whoopie Pie Festival’

An entire day of excitement is coming to Dover-Foxcroft, next month!

The date is set! The sweetest day in Maine is back for 2024

On June 22nd, the town of Dover-Foxcroft, once again becomes the Whoopie Pie capital of the world, when this beloved yearly event returns for another exciting year. Don't miss this iconic event, that runs from 10am-4pm

The Maine Whoopie Pie Festival began way back in 2009, and it has become a must-attend afternoon for the whole family and community.

Where else can you sample so many different whoopie pie flavors from all over New England, and do some great people watching at the same time?

Enjoy 6 hours of delicious food, games, live music, artists & vendors on a beautiful Saturday summer afternoon.

As always, the cost is just $6 per person, and kids 12 and under get in free!!

Here is how the schedule breaks down on June 22nd:

10:00AM - 4:00PM — Varney Agency Kid's Zone will be open with games and activities for the whole family. Bounce houses, batting cages, magic shows, pony rides, and more!

10:00AM - 4:00PM — The 3rd annual Dover True-Value Homeshow Expo at True Value, 69 East Main Street.

Visit vendors for info on building materials and earn raffle tickets to win lots of great giveaways and prizes.

10:00-10:45AM — True Value Entertainment Center Opens: Burns Bears Chainsaw Carving Demo

10:45-11:45AM — True Value Entertainment Center: Calypso Soldiers live on stage

11:00AM — Magic Show by Maine's favorite magician Conjuring Carroll at the Varney Agency Kid's Zone!

Join Conjuring Carrol for a kids magic show that will astound, amaze, and entertain. Look for Carroll roaming the festival doing balloon animals!

​11:30AM — Limitless wrestling will be performing outside (weather permitting) beside consolidated communications. The action starts at 11:30am.
