Free The Z Turkey Drive 2021 Starts Tuesday, Nov. 16

It's that time again!

Hard to imagine this, but our annual Free The Z turkey drive will be here before you know it. This Tuesday, November 16, Z107.3 will once again move in at the Brewer Hannaford parking lot to team up with the amazing team at Penquis CAP, to collect turkeys and donations to help feed people right here in our community.

Last year during the disaster that was 2020, all of you came through in a big way, with a whopping 3,600 turkeys collected. Coming anywhere close to that huge number would be amazing, so once again we ask for your help. I hope all of you can help us make 2021 another successful Free The Z.

Since we started way back in the day, we have gathered quite a few photos of our time there, so we have compiled the ultimate Free The Z photo gallery for all of you to enjoy! There have been so many memories over the years, who knows, maybe you are in one of these classic photos!

From school kids, to teachers, to businesses, a former governor of Maine, TV stations, police officers, firemen, EMTs, pets, nurses, we have had so many generous people either donate their time, services, and hard-earned money to this important and now iconic event.

Mark your calendar, and tell your friends that our 21st annual Free The Z turkey drive begins tomorrow morning at 6 am, in the Brewer Hannaford parking lot, and runs till Thursday night at 6 pm (assuming we hit our goal of 2021 turkeys!) Help us, help our community have a great Thanksgiving!
