This may be the closest to a Foos show that we get in 2023.

In 2022, Foo Fighters canceled several tour dates including the July 27 show in Bangor, at Maine Savings Amphitheater, following the tragic death of drummer Taylor Hawkins, who died Friday while the band was playing dates in South America.

Slowly but surely, they are getting back out there, but as of this moment, they are only scheduled only to play festival dates all over the globe, including a stop at the annual Boston Calling event, Fri, May 26-Sun, May 28.

However, if you need to scratch that pesky Foo itch, there is something cool happening in Orono, each Sunday in February.

Versant Power Astronomy Center & Jordan Planetarium, located at the University of Maine, 167 Rangeley Rd, will host “Foo Fighters In February.”

Come them at the planetarium for a-rockin’ good time! Foo Fighters in February lines up the Foo Fighters’ greatest hits such as Everlong, The Pretender, Learn to Fly, The Sky is a Neighborhood, and many more set to the extravagant astronomical visuals that you can only find at the Versant Power Astronomy Center.

Tickets are $9 for general admission. You can get them here, by phone at 207-581-1341, or at the box office prior to each show.

Foo Fighters In February performances will take place:

Sunday, February 12th 4:00 pm-5:00 pm
Sunday, February 19th 4:00 pm-5:00 pm
Sunday, February 26th 4:00 pm-5:00 pm
