Young & Free Maine are on the lookout for the best of Maine’s 25-and-under music crowd, with the 2017 Sound Off Music Competition!

If you are a solo artist, or part of a duo or group, this could be your big break to win a $500 gift certificate to record at Maine Street Music Studios in Bangor, and win a live performance spot at this June's 2017 Old Port Music Festival.

If you are between 18 and 25 years of age, you simply upload an original song at http://www.youngfreemaine.com/2017-sound-off Be sure to get your entry in by 3pm, on February 20th! then get your fans, family and friends to vote between February 22-March 9th.

It’s up to you to campaign and get enough votes to be one of the two finalists in each category who will move on to the judging round. In each category, the top two vote-getters, plus one entry selected by the Young & Free Maine team, will perform at the Sound Off Showdown, a live performance before a panel of judges in the final battle to be the next Sound Off champions.
