Get your hiking boots on, load up on the tick repellent and get ready for a fun and educational summer walk through at Bangor's Walden-Parke Preserve.

This Saturday, August 3rd the Maine Entomological Society will be hosting a field day at Bangor's Walden-Parke Preserve.

The day will start at 10 A.M. and will be filled with exploration of the multi-habitat, wetland area to collect and identify the insects found in the area.

Bring along nets, containers and magnifying glasses to collect and identify your insects but, don't forget your bug spray for the mosquitoes.

Bring a lunch and stay for the day!  Get to know the insects that surround us in the Bangor area and here in Maine.
