Ed Sheeran Will Make A Cameo In The Next Season Of ‘Game Of Thrones’

Seven hells, the wait for the next season of Game of Thrones just got harder. It was announced that Ed Sheeran will have a small role in the upcoming seventh season of the HBO hit show. According to USA Today, show producers David Benioff and Dan Weiss confirmed that Ed will a have a role, but didn't specify what that role is or when it will air.

Word on the street is that Maisie Williams, who plays Arya Stark and is a big fan of Ed, helped make the cameo possible.

Ed Sheeran has it all right now. He's currently on the cover of this month's Rollingstone for the first time in his career. His new album Divide sold over 451,000 copies in its first week, making it the biggest album debut of the year as according to Billboard.com.

Game of Thrones returns July 16.
