A Glenburn man is charged with manslaughter for last month's fatal accident in Hudson.

James McBride, 44, was arrested Monday. He is also charged with aggravated operating under the influence and aggravated driving to endanger. He was behind the wheel when his car left the roadway on Route 221 in Hudson and rolled over several times.

Mark Allard, 43,  was killed in that accident that also involved two other passengers, who were badly injured. Officials said, at the scene, that speed may have been a factor in the crash.

McBride is currently being held at the Penobscot County Jail and bail has been set at $25,000 cash.

McBride is expected to make his first court appearance today.
