You know things are getting back to normal when Maine's rock star pays an actual in person visit!

Dr. Nirav Shah is the head of the Maine CDC, and the guy Mainers have counted on for briefings to stay up to date regarding COVID-19 over the last 15 crazy months. His fantastic personality, love of pop culture and of course Diet Coke, has brought some much needed fun into his briefings. In fact, he recently got a Twitter shout out from his beloved beverage.

Dr. Shah makes his second visit to The Nite Show With Danny Cashman, but this time he will be on the stage at the Gracie Theatre at Husson University! Since this is Danny, expect wacky hijinx to ensue.

Last week, Dan & Christie hit the open road to do a show from their car. They chatted with comedian Rob Bartlett from his own car in New York. Old friend of The Z Morning Show, Riff Johnson performed an original tune from his car in Eastern Maine. They also drove around finding "healthy" options at drive thrus, doing donuts, and calling in a request to a certain host of a certain noon hour retro radio show. Hmmm...who could it be?

Check out The Nite Show with Danny Cashman, this Saturday night, Saturday, May 1, after the FOX 23 Portland, at 11 p.m., on WWPI NBC 16, Presque Isle, 11:30 p.m., on WABI TV5, Bangor, and at 1 a.m., on WGME CBS 13, Portland!

You know you're from Bangor when ...
