Downtown Bangor’s ‘Best Margarita Competition’ Is On Cinco De Mayo

Cinco De Mayo falls on a Friday this year, and Downtown Bangor is ready to party!

On Friday, May 5th, starting at 4 pm, and running till 8 pm, Downtown Bangor will hold its monthly "First Friday", but this time there is a twist, this one will have a Cinco De Mayo theme!

A bunch of Downtown area bars & restaurants will take part in a Margarita competition, to find out who is the best of the best. This is the perfect opportunity to get some friends together and celebrate.

Some of Bangor's best bars and restaurants will be participating. They will be reviewed by a chosen panel of four judges who will be rating their margaritas based on the following criteria:

• Flavor
• Strength of margarita
• Level of acidity
• Smoothness factor
• Showmanship/Technique

They will also hand out punch cards for a public vote so that you can cast your vote as well!
