Its ‘Free Movie Night’ At Maine Savings Amphitheater Friday
A free movie outdoors? Not a bad way to kick off the weekend!
It’s a rare non-concert night on the Bangor Waterfront, so grab the gang this Friday, July 14th, because the Bangor Parks & Recreation Deaprtment, is teaming up with the Maine Savings Amphitheater, to host a FREE screening of the smash hit movie, "Moana"
The gates will open at 6:00pm on Friday night, and the film will begin at 6:30pm sharp. Best of all, there is plenty of room there to stretch out and enjoy the show on the big screen. Also, it is an excellent chance to get a look at all the new improvements made to the concert facility while you are there!
Food and drinks will be available for purchase during the movie.
You can bring a blanket to sit on, however lawn chairs are not permitted at the venue.
As with everything else these days, unfortunately, there is a chance of a shower that night, so you should be prepared for the worst-case scenario if some rain does fall.
"Moana" is a 2016 animated musical fantasy blcokbuster, that tells the story of Moana, the strong-willed daughter of a chief of a coastal village, who is chosen by the ocean itself to reunite a mystical relic with the goddess Te Fiti.
The movie also features the voice of a guy you may have heard of before, Dwyane "The Rock" Johnson
It is the perfect Friday night movie to watch outdoors wih the whole family!
