Delicious ice cream that supports a great cause? Count us in!

For many years, we have partnered up with the good people at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center CMN Hospitals, for various events to help this fantastic cause, including this annual event coming up on Thursday, July 27th.

Let's face it, it has been hot and uncomfortable for the last two months, so Dairy Queen Miracle Treat Day, and ice cream are an unbeatable combination, make you sure to stop by to say hello, and do your part!

Here is how you can help:

Buy a Blizzard treat on Miracle Treat Day, Thursday, July 27th, and you can bring health and hope to local kids.

Participating Dairy Queen locations in the United States and Canada are raising money for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, including Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center, the only Children’s Miracle Network Hospital north of Portland.

Participating locations include Bangor (Broadway), Belfast, Brewer, Ellsworth, and Old Town.

Dairy Queen is donating $1 from the sale of each Blizzard treat on Miracle Treat Day to the local hospitals.

Dairy Queen has been a Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals’ national partner for 39 years, and DQ locations in the United States and Canada have raised more than $160 million for local children’s hospitals.

Nearly $2 million of these dollars have come from Miracle Treat Day.

They offer a wide variety of flavors, so grab a blizzard treat, and take a pic with the DQ Hashtags: #DairyQueen #MiracleTreatDay
