New Aroma Joe’s Coffee Shop Coming to Brewer, Maine This Month
On the go and need a hot cup of joe? A new coffee option is brewing in Brewer!
It’s always exciting when a new coffee shop comes to town, especially when the company is headquartered right here in Maine.
A brand-new Aroma Joe’s is set to open in Brewer this month.
The new shop will be located at 972 Wilson St. in Brewer, in the former fireworks store. An exact opening date hasn’t been announced yet, as crews are currently transforming the building into a coffee shop.
The Wilson Street location sits along a busy commercial corridor, making it a convenient stop for drive-thru customers and commuters traveling between Brewer and Bangor.
The new store is expected to be open seven days a week from 5am to 9pm, serving up the full Aroma Joe’s menu, including coffee, espresso drinks, Rush energy drinks, and breakfast favorites.

Aroma Joe’s has plenty of options to choose from, with its menu broken into fun categories like Expressin’, Brewin’, Energizin’, Chillin’, Freezin’, Kiddin’, Breakfastin’, and Munchin’.
That means customers can grab everything from coffee and espresso drinks to energy drinks, donuts, sandwiches, and breakfast favorites. There are plenty of tempting options, including a spicy chorizo gouda flatbread with egg that sounds like a pretty great way to start the morning.
Aroma Joe’s also uses Rainforest Alliance Certified coffee beans, supporting sustainable farming practices.
The Brewer location will join two existing Aroma Joe’s shops in Bangor. Those locations opened in 2025 at 444 Main Street, in the former Tim Hortons building, and 28 Haskell Road, near the Hogan Road commercial area.
The Haskell Road shop was the first Aroma Joe’s location built using the company’s new prototype design.
Aroma Joe’s currently has 30 locations operating across Maine, with more expansion planned.
Franchise co-owner Bob Brennan, who operates the Bangor locations along with several other Aroma Joe’s stores in Maine, is behind the Brewer expansion.
So, if you’re a coffee lover in Brewer, you won’t have to wait much longer. A new morning stop is brewing on Wilson Street!
And as soon as that official opening date drops, we’ll let you know first, so you can be ready to grab that first cup.
