Celebrate 'Winter At Hogwarts' In Downtown Bangor On January 29th

Bangor area Harry Potter fans, something fun is coming your way to kick off 2022!

Over the last few years, there have been several Harry Potter themed events held in Downtown Bangor, and as we get ready to see what the new year has in store for us, there is a gathering coming up that will cure those dreaded "winter blahs" and let you get your geek on with other Hogwarts fanatics.

On Saturday, January 29th from 11 am–2pm, in historic Downtown Bangor, TLC Photography is hosting "Winter at Hogwarts" Which is described as "Dark academia meets Harry Potter in Downtown Bangor"

Dress up as your favorite character in the Harry Potter universe, and get a photo shoot in your costume. The cost is $25, For more information, you can check out The Facebook event page

If you can't decide who to dress up as, there is no shortage of costume choices. The world of Harry Potter is vast, to say the least:

There is also an extra treat for Harry Potter fans coming your way on Saturday, January 1st, when HBO Max debuts "Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts". The special reunites all the stars of the film, as the sit down and reminisce about the iconic film franchise. This of course means that you can expect appearances from Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, Emma Watson, and all your other favorites.
